About Us
We exist because most Indian families never write one.
WillSetu is a will drafting and estate planning service built for Indian families — plain language, fixed fees, and a properly executed document at the end of it.
Fewer than one in ten Indians leaves behind a valid Will. The consequences are not abstract. Bank accounts freeze. Property sits locked in disputes between siblings who used to be close. Thousands of crores lie unclaimed in Indian banks, insurance companies and provident funds — not because families do not want the money, but because they cannot prove they are entitled to it.
Almost none of that is caused by people not caring. It is caused by the process being intimidating. Making a Will has traditionally meant finding an advocate, not knowing what it should cost, sitting through a conversation full of terms nobody explains, and never being sure whether the document was done properly.
We built WillSetu to remove every one of those obstacles.
What we actually do
We are a document preparation and coordination service. We take your wishes, translate them into a properly structured Will under the Indian Succession Act, 1925, and then — and this is the part most services skip — we make sure it is properly executed.
A Will that is drafted but never signed correctly is worth nothing. So every package includes guidance on signing and witnessing, and free coordination of notarisation or registration in your city. We do not hand you a PDF and wish you luck.

What we are not
We think being clear about this matters more than sounding impressive.
We are not a law firm. We do not practise law, appear in court, contest Wills, or obtain probate. Using this service does not create an advocate-client relationship. For estates involving disputed assets, business succession, foreign holdings, trusts or tax planning, you should engage an independent advocate — and we will tell you so rather than take your money.
Our disclaimer sets out these limits in full. We would rather you read it before you buy than after.
How we work
You tell us your wishesthrough our guided questions or a consultation, in plain language, with every question explained.
We draft and reviewmapped to the Act, with executor, guardian and witness clauses, and reviewed until it says what you meant.
You see it before you paythe full draft, not a teaser. You only pay when you are satisfied.
We get it executedfree notarisation or registration in your city, and guidance on signing correctly in front of two witnesses.
Our standards
Fixed, one-time fees. No retainers, no hourly billing, no surprise charges. Every price is on our pricing page.
Nothing to pay upfront. You see your draft first.
Your data stays yours. Details of your family and assets are seen only by the team member handling your document, and are never sold. See our privacy policy.
Free revisions. If the draft does not reflect your instructions, we fix it at no cost.
We say no when we should. If your estate genuinely needs an advocate, we will tell you.
