Will with Notarisation — ₹4,999

Our experts draft and review your Will, then arrange free notarisation in your city. Includes a 30-minute consultation to capture your wishes. Available across India. Ideal for smaller families with a single child and a straightforward estate.

Will with Registration — ₹19,999

A fully drafted and reviewed Will, registered free at the Sub-Registrar Office (SRO) in your city, with a 60-minute expert consultation. Registration creates an official government record of your Will, making it considerably harder to dispute or misplace. Available across India excluding Tamil Nadu. Recommended for larger families with two or more children, or where there is property involved.

Telephonic Will — ₹14,999

Create your entire Will over a 90-minute phone consultation — no apps, no forms to fill in yourself. We draft, review, and arrange free notarisation in your city. Ideal for parents and elderly relatives who would rather talk to a person than type into a website.

Wills for NRIs — ₹19,999

For Indians living abroad with assets in India. Includes a 120-minute consultation, notarisation support for two years, attestation of the Will in your country of residence, and free registration at the Sub-Registrar in your home city in India.

Frequently asked questions about will pricing

With WillSetu, a complete Will with free notarisation costs ₹4,999 as a one-time fee. A Will with free registration costs ₹19,999. Costs elsewhere vary widely — a local advocate may charge anywhere from a few thousand rupees for a simple Will to considerably more for a complex estate, usually billed hourly.

The Sub-Registrar's own registration fee for a Will is modest and varies by state, typically a few hundred rupees. Our Will with Registration package covers the drafting, review, consultation and coordination of that registration for one fee of ₹19,999.

No. Registration is optional under the Registration Act, 1908. A Will is legally valid the moment it is properly signed and witnessed. Registration simply creates an official record, which makes the Will harder to challenge or lose.

Notarisation is attestation by a notary public, adding authentication of the signing. Registration formally records the Will with the Sub-Registrar Office, creating a government record. Registration offers stronger protection against a future challenge, which is why we recommend it when there is property or more than one child.

No. You answer the questions or attend your consultation first, we prepare your draft, and you see a preview of your actual Will before any payment is requested.

No. The package price is one-time and covers everything listed for that package. Government fees already paid on your behalf and travel outside your covered city are the only possible extras, and we tell you before incurring them.
